Tips & Tricks: Stretch Bracelet Tutorial

This was a tutorial I made over a year ago...but I didn't have the chance to post it on this blog. Anyhoo, here it is! One of the first few DIY projects I will be making and sharing to all of you! Enjoy and don't hesitate to ask questions or drop thoughts on the comment section below. :D

Stretch bracelets are very versatile and easy to wear and perhaps the easiest to make. But over time, the stretch cord will break or loosen because doing a random knot to secure the piece will just not do it. Learn how to properly tie an elastic or nylon to make your stretch bracelets last longer!

For this project, gather the following materials: Stretch Cord/Elastic/Nylon, Scissors, Colorful Beads, Bails, Charms and Jumprings.

Goodbye my loves! This is extremely hard for me, but I know I'm making the right choice. I mean if I wouldn't let all these materials go I'd be suffering the whole trip to Cebu!

Ah, yes. The inevitable has arrived. I'll be taking the CE Licensure Exam come November and this June, I'll be travelling to Cebu to attend a review to prepare for it. :D This is crazy! I'm nervous already. But anyhoo, I know I couldn't possibly take all my babies with me. So here it is, AN UBER HUGE DESTASH of my beloved charms, beads, cameos, settings and what not!

Show and Tell: April Charms, Beads & Pendants!

It's been a while since I made a haul post. And I'm excited to show you some of the supplies I got last month. Better late than never, right? :) I have already incorporated some of them on my new designs, so one or two might look familiar to you.

CLOSE OUT SALE: Are we ready?

Yesterday, I announced in my Facebook, Multiply and Twitter accounts that streetchiconline and djaDesigns will be closed indefinitely. :( *sigh* I don't know, it's just very difficult to find time to make new pieces again. March is looming and there are just a lot of things to do before *ahem* my graduation. That is of course if I can make it! Haha! :D

To make things clear, I AM NOT SAYING GOODBYE to BEADING and JEWELRY MAKING! This is not the end y'all! I love this hobby. Probably the only one I was able to stick to for a very long time. Because before I was into digital scrapbooking, digital art, sketching, and stuff. I gave them all up because they were taking too much of my time. Beading however is VERY VERY THERAPEUTIC. I don't know what is it with beads but I feel better every time I walk away from my workspace. :)

However, I AM saying goodbye to my two shops for now. FOR NOW. I do hope after *ahem* my graduation I will be able to open streetchiconline and djaDesigns again. Hopefully..hopefully.
