REVIEW: Jewelry Pieces from Mia Casa

Although I know how to make necklaces and bracelets and have an online shop to sell them, I never fail to go shopping for pieces I'd like to call my own. :) And ever since this picture went viral all over the internet, I had the Triangle Resin Necklace from House of Harlow 1960 in my wishlist.

But the damned thing costs roughly around Php 5300! I can't even get myself to buy shoes worth 1k over! :D Thank goodness for these online shops who sell replicas of this piece. I had my chance so I bought these pieces for me!

The Sunburst Harlow Necklace (Php 250) and Black Bangles (Php 175) from Mia Casa. I also decided to buy these during Multiply's FREE SHIPPING PROMO (ends June 30, 2012). I dig super savings!

Normally when I go shopping, I always visit different shops first before making that purchase. The reason is mainly because I want to look for the best deal. Online shops have been sprouting like mushrooms all over the internet most of them selling the same things. And for these pieces, Mia Casa offers you the lowest price (based from my scouting anyway). With regards to price I'd give it a 5 out of 5!

Each piece came in individual zip locks and were placed in a makeshift box made out of a folded ring display. I kid you not. Hahaha. But everything was bubble wrapped so it's okay. I'm not really picky about packaging when it comes to accessories anyway. So I really didn't mind. Rate? A 3 out of 5. Because some of you might.

Because I got free shipping I can't really rate this with regards to the shipping costs. But the package arrived two days after I made my payment. Courier used was XEND. I don't know how the package got here but something definitely happened! Here, take a look.

One of the "gems" from the bangles popped out. I tried looking for the piece in the pouch but I couldn't find it. :( With this, I'd give them a 4 out of 5.

When it came, the pieces looked polished and in pretty good condition. :) However, I did not expect a lot with regards to how long these pieces will look that way. I mean, I am buying replicas and more often than not, the materials used are the same ones I have been using to make my own accessories: brass, iron, or any other metal with gold/antique plating. So when I used my Sunburst necklace one morning by the end of the day I got this...

Oh the damage! But it's okay. I'll think of something to fix that mess. This necklace did easily snap. Thus, the How-To-Fix-A-Broken-Necklace post here. And that thing about the missing gem on the bangles too. So, it's a 3 out of 5 for me. :)

Do I recommend this shop? Yes. :) They have a huge..HUGE selection of accessories from necklaces, bangles, earrings, charm name it! And like I said, they offer the best price for these products.
